A 30% deposit of the total trip cost will be required at time of booking.
The final balance will be requested 65 days prior to departure.
Cancellations up to 65 days no penalty.
Cancellations 64-35 days before trip start are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations 34 days or less before the trip start are subject to 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
Your trip will be confirmed when minimum numbers are reached, at latest 65 days before departure.
If the trip is canceled by us before this date, a full refund will be issued minus any bank charges

Activities
Manaus
Manaus, a vibrant metropolis, the capital of the state of Amazonas, blends colonial architecture, history and authentic cuisine will surprise you ! Founded in the late 1600s, Manaus is also famous for the Meeting of the Waters (Encontro das Águas), just outside the city, where the Rio Negro and Solimões rivers converge to form the Amazon River, a really unique sight.
City tours are not included in the package but can be requested and are really worth considering due to the richness and history of this town.





Amazon Theatre (Teatro Amazonas)
Imagine a piece of Europe – but in the middle of the Amazon forest ! One of the most iconic landmarks in Manaus, the Amazon Theatre is a breathtaking opera house built during the rubber boom era in the late 19th century. The dome, covered in 36,000 ceramic tiles painted in the colors of the Brazilian flag, its architectural style blends Renaissance and Baroque influences, adorned with imported materials like Italian marble, French glass, and English steel.
Daily tours in English reveal fascinating stories about its construction, its role in Manaus’ golden era, making this landmark a must visit to take lots of pictures!
Culinary
Have you heard of Cupuaçú, Açai or Tambaqui? The Amazon offers a rich and unique variety of fruits, fish, and local dishes that are sure to surprise and delight every visitor.Be adventurous and try them all!
Start your day with an authentic organic Açaí bowl and a serving of local Tapioca—a delicious tortilla-like creation made from yuca, for lunch, order the famous Tambaqui fish, perfectly grilled and served with a side of crunchy farofa by visiting the restaurant Tambaqui da Banda, located next to the Theater at the main city plaza.
Nature Immersion
This is why you came here, to immerse yourself in the heart of the forest with guided hikes and nature walks led by knowledgeable local guides. Be amazed by the rich biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest, wildlife and birds and discovering indigenous plant species. Our hike will take you to the magnificent Argelim Pedra, the tallest tree species in the Amazon—some of which are hundreds of years old. The magic of the forest will embrace and mesmerize you!
Cultural Experiences
Visit the local community of Acajatuba, where you’ll get to meet with the friendly locals. We’ll take you to a unique orchid nursery showcasing hundreds of native and rare plants and hand-carved furniture to try a unique herbal tea, and stop by the local co-op to purchase unique jewelry, arts, and crafts. These handmade items are created by indigenous communities from the surrounding area, for local responsible shopping with authentic and meaningful souvenirs from your journey.
Spiritual and Healing Experience
Join us on a heartwarming journey to the indigenous community of the Tatuyos, where you’ll take part in a special spiritual baptism ceremony. During this beautiful tradition, you’ll receive your indigenous name and be blessed by their Shaman (Pagé), becoming a part of their tribe. We will spend half of the day here so you can get to know the community, learning about their traditions and lifestyle. It’s truly a unique and unforgettable experience that will stay with you forever.
Sustainable Workshops
As part of one of the local communities we work with, we’ve found an incredible vendor Cheiro da Floresta, a women-owned small business who’s a true pioneer in researching the essential oils and fragrances of the Amazon. Meet Sui, she is dedicated to uncovering the unique scents and healing properties of the rainforest’s plants and woods, offering rare, hand-crafted oils that honor the land’s traditions and sustainability. You’ll have the opportunity to learn how to prepare essential oils using the locally sourced oils from the Amazon.

Let’s meet the queen of the rivers: the piranhas. On this tour, feel the thrill of catching and releasing them, and enjoy the excitement of seeing these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. It’s a fun and unique experience you won’t forget.
Sunrise and sunset at Rio Negro
This could be the most magnificent experience of your trip. Depending on the season, the sunrises and sunsets are nothing short of a masterpiece, showing a magnitude of different colors depending on the season. Whether you rise early to catch the view or take a chance even with an overcast sky, you might just be surprised by the beauty that will unfold before your eyes.
Night excursion
This will be another highlight of your trip. As dusk falls, we’ll board the boat and our guides will lead us into a place of pure enchantment. The air will be filled with the sounds of a natural orchestra—frogs croaking, owls hooting, alligators calling, and many other nocturnal creatures. Above, the starry sky offers a breathtaking view of constellations, planets, and sometimes even shooting stars. This tour will give you a glimpse of how unique the Amazon really is.
Visit to the flour mill
Cassava, or yuca, is a vital food staple for the local communities and a cornerstone of their way of life and diet. On this tour, you’ll visit a traditional old style mill where the magic happens—watch how cassava is transformed into a variety of by-products. From ingredients like tapioca, bejú, and tucupi to even latex used in home construction, you’ll learn about the resourcefulness of these communities. It’s a hands-on experience that showcases the incredible versatility of this humble root. And you’ll get to taste the tapioca fresh and warm, delicious !
Accommodations
Casa dos Bispos: A 4-star boutique hotel offering air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms. This charming property features a 24-hour front desk, room service, and currency exchange services. Located in the historic district at Largo de São Sebastião, it is within walking distance of all the main attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.
Manati Lodge: A small and charming jungle hotel dedicated to ethical and sustainable tourism, located in a pristine and tranquil area along the banks of the Rio Negro in the Lake Acajatuba region.
The lodge offers beautiful and comfortable rooms with air conditioning and private bathrooms, as well as a gourmet restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared exclusively with locally sourced, organic ingredients. Guests can enjoy a variety of Amazonian fruit juices, açaí bowls, fresh fish, salads, and authentic local dishes. By request, the kitchen can accommodate specific dietary preferences or food allergy restrictions. There is also a serene yoga and meditation room nested between the trees, providing the perfect space for guests to unwind and enjoy peaceful morning or evening quiet time.
Reaching Manati Lodge involves a 1-hour drive (60 km from Manaus) followed by a speedboat journey of 25 to 45 minutes, depending on the season (25 minutes during the flood season and 45 minutes during the dry season).

The Amazon is a breathtaking destination that captivates all your senses. This relaxing and enjoyable trip accommodates all fitness levels and ages. However, due to the nature of the trails, transportation, and terrain, it is not fully accessible for individuals with mobility challenges.

Tour Plan
Day 1
Welcome to Manaus! Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred in private transportation to your charming stay at Hotel Casa dos Bispos. Settle in, relax, and soak in the vibrant energy of the gateway to the Amazon.
The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace! If you’re up for some culture and history, consider a visit to the stunning Amazon Theater and the charming Historic District—both optional but highly recommended for a taste of Manaus’ rich heritage.








Day 2
9:00 AM – Time to leave the city behind and head into the heart of the Amazon! Our driver will pick up for a 45m drive and then we’ll hop on a boat for about 1 ride as we journey deep into the rainforest.
11:00 AM – Welcome to your jungle retreat! Breathe in the fresh Amazon air and get ready to immerse yourself in nature. Check in at Manati Lodge and relax.
12:30 PM – Lunchtime! Enjoy a delicious meal featuring local flavors to fuel up for the adventures ahead. A variety of natural organic juices and fruits, fish, vegetables and deserts, all locally sourced farm to table.
3:00 PM – We’ll jump in our motor boat and head out on a fascinating tour to visit the Acajatuba community, where you’ll get a glimpse of local traditions and daily life. We’ll get to visit the local Orchid nursery, with hundreds of unique rare plants and handmade wood carved furniture ! Also the opportunity to purchase unique arts and crafts made by local artisans and indigenous community, take advantage of this sustainable shopping experience for a beautiful souvenir . End the afternoon with a breathtaking sunset over the Rio Negro—trust us, it’s a sight you won’t forget!
7:00 PM – Wrap up the day with a hearty, delicious dinner under the jungle sky. Soups, salads, choice of fruits and refreshing juices available. Relax, unwind, and listen to the sounds of the Amazon at night.
Day 3
6:00 AM – Rise and shine (if you’re up for it)! Catch a magical sunrise over the Rio Negro, where the sky paints itself in shades of gold and pink. It’s an optional experience, but totally worth the early wake-up!
7:30 AM – Breakfast time. Fuel up with a delicious variety of juices, freshly baked cakes, tapioca, bread and natural jams and honey, as you get ready for another exciting day in the jungle.
9:00 AM – Step into the Amazon rainforest for a guided nature trail where you’ll discover unique plants, visit one of the tallest trees, the Argelim Pedra, spot wildlife, and learn about the secrets of the jungle from local guides.
12:30 PM – Lunch break. Relax and enjoy a flavorful meal featuring fresh local and authentic ingredients, juices, fruits and deserts —because adventures are better on a full stomach!
3:00 PM – Time for some action! A very fun activity is waiting for you: piranha fishing, where you can test your skills and (hopefully) reel in one of these famous fish, learn about their habits and curiosities .
As dusk falls, we’ll set off by boat into the heart of the jungle, where nature’s nighttime orchestra begins—frogs croaking, owls hooting, and the occasional splash of an alligator.
Look up, and you’ll be treated to a breathtaking night sky filled with constellations, planets, and maybe even a shooting star. Pure enchantment, Amazon-style! 🚤🌿
7:30 PM – Dinner is served. Delicious varieties of salads, soups, and fish stew, together with fresh fruits and juices. Wrap up the day by listening to the sounds of the jungle and looking at the amazing night sky.
Day 4
7:30 AM – Start the day with a delicious breakfast, homemade cakes, breads, tapioca, organic eggs and juices, perfect to fuel up for the journey ahead.
8:30 AM – One of the most special experiences on this trip. Hop on a boat and set off for a visit to the Tatuyos Indigenous community, where you’ll participate in a beautiful blessing ceremony and look at their traditions, way of life, and deep connection to the Amazon and Nature.
1:00 PM – Time for lunch! Another fantastic selection of fish, chicken and local authentic culinary creations. An abundance of fresh juices and fruit and delicious deserts.
Free afternoon to enjoy at your own pace, read a book, chill at the porch or swim at the Rio Negro.
7:00 PM – Dinner time! Relax, unwind, and enjoy delicious soups, salads, stews and a variety of fruits, deserts and juices. All organic and locally sourced.
Day 5
7:30 AM – Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as you soak in the last moments of your Amazon retreat.
10:00 AM – Explore the local flour mill. A main food staple for the local communities is the cassava or yuca. You’ll get to visit the mill where they extract the by-products as ingredients for tapioca, bejú, tucupi, and latex for home construction and take part in a hands-on workshop with natural Amazonian oils, where you’ll get to make your own moisturizer or essential oil —a unique opportunity to learn about the region’s rich resources.
3:00 PM – Time to go see one of the most fascinating creatures in the Amazon, the Pink Dolphin, where you’ll get up close with these playful and rare creatures. Enjoy your last sunset at the Rio Negro by soaking in all the beauty witnessed in the last 5days.
7:00 PM – Dinner is served. Another array of wholesome organic salads, soups, fish and chicken, together with fresh fruits and juices. Enjoy your last night in the forest by sitting at the porch or by the bonfire to share your amazing stories and memories with our group.
Day 6
7:30 AM – Enjoy a quiet breakfast as you soak in the last moments of your Amazon retreat.
10:00 AM – Time to check out and begin the journey back to Manaus—a scenic 1.5-hour ride returning to city life.
12:00 PM – Check-in at Hotel Casa dos Bispos, your cozy home in Manaus for the night.
The afternoon is yours! Relax and unwind or, if you’re up for some exploring, head to the Municipal Market for a taste of local flavors and crafts (by request with an extra fee) or just chill and recharge by going on a stroll at the plaza and enjoying some delicious local ice cream.
Day 7
Adeus Amazonas!
11:00 AM – Check out and transfer to the airport. As you depart, take the magic of the Amazon with you—its beauty, its energy, and the unforgettable moments you’ve experienced.
